Authorities, officials, and civil servants of public bodies shall provide the information requested by the Ombudsman’s Office, and will facilitate this body’s inspections of the public services, police stations, prisons, and other state agencies subject to its control. To this end, it may carry out personal visits, including without advance warning, to obtain any required data and information, hold personal interviews, or carry out studies of files, reports, documentation, background files, and any other element which it considers may be of use.
