Epilogue AKA That Haunted Shower Curtain

A week later, Eric and I were showering together after playing an intense round of dirty pirates when the shower curtain started acting up. It was flapping like crazy, hitting my arms and legs and just being as rabidly abusive as a haunted shower curtain could be. It didn’t bother Eric, but it startled me when I had my eyes closed washing my hair. I expressed being startled vocally in the form of a high-pitched, shrill scream, which does nothing but ruin my masculine image.

Eric, through what I assume were his intrinsic detective skills, determined the shower curtain only acted up when both of our doors were open creating a draft. He stepped out of the tub, water dripping off him, making his muscles look even sleeker. If I was drooling, the water cascading from the showerhead hid it.

When the door to his bedroom clicked closed, the shower curtain immediately settled down. Eric’s exorcism had worked, and the demon soul had been released from my curtain. I’d finally be able to shower in peace. I suggested Eric sleep in my bed with me, because we shouldn’t risk the shower curtain getting possessed again if he left his door open. After he agreed, I gave him a proper reward for saving me from the evil curtain, which just resulted in us getting dirtier. Nevertheless, that’s all part of a pirate's life. My favorite part honestly.
