ERGOT CONTAINING COMPOUNDS

Symptoms: Vomiting, Pain in abdomen, Convulsions, Coma.

Antidote and First Aid Treatment:

1. Give Universal Antidote (See No. 21).

2. Give an Emetic such as mustard (See No. 1).

3. Keep the victim warm and quiet.

4. Artificial Respiration may be needed.

CALL A PHYSICIAN!

ETHER

Symptoms: Slow breathing, Pupils are dilated, Respiratory failure.

Antidote and First Aid Treatment:

If Inhaled:

1. Remove to fresh air.

2. Give Artificial Respiration.

If Swallowed:

1. Give an Emetic such as Sodium Chloride (See No. 2).

2. Give Aromatic Spirit of Ammonia (See No. 19).
