Short and to the point. There are so many other things I’d like to write, but I can’t, not yet.

The door to the elevator dings so I leave her desk to get in.

At six-thirty on the dot, I’m at her door knocking. A few seconds later, she opens the door and I’m stunned by her raw beauty. Her naturally blonde hair is hanging loose in waves down her back and her blue eyes seem extra blue with the dark makeup she’s wearing. The dark teal dress that she’s wearing is cut low in a v-neck, accentuating her large tits in a way that has my mouth watering. Her heels have her standing at least four inches taller and are the same color as her dress. They wrap around and tie in a bow at the back of her ankle. Jesus, she’s gorgeous and smells incredible.

“You look beautiful, Emersyn.”

Her hard expression cracks as a soft smile plays across her face for the briefest of moments. “Thank you.”

Lifting my arm out to her, I grin. “Are you ready to charm the pants off the Colliers?”

“Ah, so that’s why you’re bringing me?”

I wink at her. “Damn straight. You’re my secret weapon.”

Laughing, she grabs her purse, then loops her arm through mine.

I walk her out to my car and she stops when she gets a look at my white Mercedes Benz.

“Wow. Cohen, that’s a beautiful car.”

“I like beautiful things,” I smirk.

“Apparently,” she mutters as I open her door for her.

Once she’s seated inside, I close her door then walk around to the driver’s side and get in.

“Ready to go, beautiful?”

She gives me the side-eye and shakes her head at me. “I’m ready.”

Laughing, I turn the music up and pull out of her apartment complex. It’s nice enough, but she deserves better. She deserves the fucking world and I’m the one who’s going to give it to her. Starting tonight.

Pulling into The Pier, I park up front leaving my keys in the ignition. Seconds later the valet driver opens Emersyn’s door and helps her out. We cross paths as he hands me a ticket. Sticking it into my coat pocket, I walk up to Emersyn and slide my hand against her lower back, guiding her into the restaurant.

Once we’re inside, she pulls away from me and I feel like snarling. I’ve never wanted anyone as badly as I’ve wanted Emersyn. I swear the woman is doing this to me on purpose.

“Good evening, do you have a reservation?” The hostess asks, looking between Emersyn and me.

“Cohen Stone”

“Of course, I have you right here. Right this way, Mr. Stone” she smiles.

I follow behind Emersyn, placing my hand back where I want it, just above her perfect ass.

The hostess leads us to a round booth in the back like I’d requested over the phone earlier today.

The puzzled look on Emerson’s face is adorable, I’m only wondering how she’s going to react once she finds out I’ve stretched the truth a bit.

Once we’ve been seated and the hostess walks away Emerson’s eyes snap to mine.
