The meeting in the hotel conference room had not gone well.

Greyson Marks was known for his lack of patience and for those lucky to be close to him, they understood that he didn’t suffer fools gladly. So listening to his financial advisory team trying to convince him to buy up some dead-end company in a takeover swoop was not his idea of a good gaffe.

So what if he had a lot of money? That didn’t mean he was in a hurry to throw it all away. True, he’d built a reputation as the fix-it guy; the one who took over failing businesses and turned them around in a short period of time. He always got his fingers in the right pie and expanded his already thriving business with ease.

But there were just some risks he wasn’t willing to take. A certain pharmaceutical company dealing only in nature products suddenly looked like a promising venture to his finance people. Yeah, right. Only a few months earlier, Greyson had bought out a firm dealing in pharmaceutical and household products and already; it was putting up a good show on the stock market. Now that scoop had thrilled him in particular because he’d just managed to outbid that infernal rival company Huntington that always seemed to be gunning for the same businesses Greyson was interested in. How they got their Intel he didn’t know, but more than twice now he’d been forced to increase his bid just to make the desired win-over theirs.

Greyson couldn’t wait to get back to his hotel room where his already packed bags were waiting and catch the next plane back. He never should have made this trip. But then there’d been a few things he’d had to see to apart from the meeting with his investment team. Furious with the time he’d wasted staying on for this trip, Greyson had grabbed a couple of cocktails at the hotel bar - mostly to get the bad taste out of his mouth when he thought of the many things, business and personal, that were bothering him, making it difficult for him to feel calm or at ease.

Finally arriving on his floor, he shifted his jacket to his other arm as he fumbled in his pocket for his keycard. Finding it, he quickly unlocked the door to his room and walked in.

Being greeted by the sight of the sexiest figure he ever seen bent right over in front of him, Greyson could only stop short in his tracks. His narrowed gaze travelled down the curvy back, to the gorgeous ass to the shapely long legs encased in dark pantyhose as he fought for a way to regroup his thoughts.

Seconds later, the woman straightened up and turned, clearly startled when she came face to face with the hotel rooms’ occupant. Greyson was vaguely aware that in the five seconds since he’d walked into his suite, he’d gotten irrepressibly hard. Backing into the door, he shut it firmly behind him.
