“WAKE UP, GIRL.”

I open my eyes to see Randolph kneeling over me, and I almost scream before I cover my sex. At least my top is still in one piece.

“Daddy!” I shout. He’s sitting against the wall and looks asleep.

“The Change has put him in a stupor,” Randolph says. “Happens to us all the first time, but he will wake soon.”

Us? “What are you doing here? How’d you get in?” I glance at the door to see it open.

“Your brother had a key on him.”

“Tyler?” Cold settles in my belly.

“Yes,” Randolph says. “He’s a member of my pack now.”

“What are you talking about?”

Randolph smiles. Up close, his eyes gleam with gold. “I know about lycans because I am one. The alpha, to be precise. My pack has been hunting in these mountains for centuries. I’ve worn many disguises in my human lives.” The werewolf glances at Daddy. “Just as well he fucked you, girl, we always need fertile females. You will be shared with the pack, your body used for our pleasure. Werewolves, even after turning, are never sated.”

I slap him across the face. “Get away from me!”

“Your brother will tame you. Tyler?” he calls out. “Fresh meat.”

Randolph stands back while a hulking form fills the doorway. It stalks inside on all fours, claws digging into the floorboards. A huge werewolf, fully transformed with bristling dark fur, stands up on two legs. It bares its fangs at me.

I stumble back with a scream in my throat.

Not an it. He.

Tyler?

He lumbers toward me, sniffing the air. A huge red thing grows out of the fur between its legs and I realize it’s his cock.

I’m frozen to the floor until a deep voice stops Tyler in his tracks. “That’s your sister, son. Don’t hurt her.”

My eyes swing toward Daddy, who stands up. And Tyler—if he’s still Tyler—tilts his head.

“What are you waiting for?” Randolph yells. “Get her!”

But the big wolf doesn’t move, staring at Daddy, who looks at me with hard eyes. “Hide, Fawn. We will protect you.”

I scamper toward the hallway, and the last thing I see is Daddy changing into something more than human. I hear the crunch of bones as his head elongates and the muscles on his arm swell. Steam rises from his back as fur sprouts.

Randolph is shifting too.

There are more howls from outside the cabin.

I dart into my bedroom and slide under the bed. I wish I could help my men fight off Randolph’s pack, but there’s nothing I can do. And if they lose . . .

I shudder at the thought.

From the front I can hear wood breaking. Terrifying roars and meaty ripping sounds. After a few seconds, the noises seem fainter. I crawl toward the window and peek outside to see grass bathed in moonlight, with huge beasts tearing at each other. Two of them, back to back, fight half a dozen more. Their breaths mist in the night.

Savage and primal.

The biggest werewolf, with silver fur on its back, must be Randolph the alpha.

I hold my mouth when I realize his pack will lose.
