The Four A’s: Overview

Awareness, at the base of the pyramid, asks you to think about your need and desire for change.

Assessment requires you to consider the ways you might go about making the change.

Authority means giving yourself permission and the tools necessary to bring about the change you’ve chosen to pursue.

Action is the final step, when you bring to life the sustaining, long-term change you’ve been working toward.

There’s really no getting around it; you have to work through this list to get to the top. The top is never the end of the journey anyway. The journey to reputational excellence actually doesn’t have an endpoint; there’s always more work to be done and another pyramid to scale.
