3. Create the second layer by overlapping the first layer.

4. The final layer will be small bursts of buttercream to cover the top.

5. With green buttercream and tip 352, pipe on the leaves. Hold the beak facing down. Squeeze buttercream until it comes out the sides and pull back and stop piping.

6. For the center leaves, pipe and pull upward.

Beach Wave Instructions

1. With light turquoise buttercream and tip 5, outline waves and fill in.

2. Use an angled spatula to smooth out buttercream. Don’t use my smooth buttercream technique here; it looks natural when just gently smoothed.
