Fish Pie

Mashed potatoes top this fish pie to make a nice hearty topping to the light and fresh fish underneath. Cream sauce and crab are added to the filling along with fresh herbs. If you are in the mood for a different version of Shepherd’s Pie, try this fish recipe to mix things up.

Servings: 6

Cook and Prep: 1 hour

Ingredients:

1 pound of white fish cut in bite-sized chunks

1 pound imitation crab meat (flaked)

3 large potatoes (peeled and Cubed)

6 tablespoons of butter

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup mozzarella cheese

3 tablespoons minced garlic

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

¼ cup chopped fresh basil

1 teaspoon dried dill

2 cups chopped fresh spinach

¼ cup chopped green onion

Salt and pepper to taste
