Later that night I washed, blow dried and wrapped my hair up to get ready for bed. I turned in about 12:00 AM. Asia sat up all night downloading music…before you knew it, it was morning. I admit I was excited about tonight and couldn’t wait to get ready. I knew that I was going to allow myself to open and explore this time. Part of me wondered would I unlock another door to Pandora’s Box.

Asia looked into my bedroom, “Hey,” I looked up at her and she was dressed to go out. “I’m getting ready to go to my hair appointment and then go get my nails done, you sure you don’t wanna come along?”

“Oh, yeah I’m sure, I’ve already washed my hair last night, and I’ll probably just wear it in a wrap or something,” I replied.

“Okay then I’m out…see ya latta!”

“Aiight girl, see ya!”

I looked over at the clock and it was still a little early. I wasn’t in a rush to do anything this morning so I went back to sleep for another hour.

Several hours later Asia arrived back home.

“Girl you’re still asleep,”

“I looked up at her, yarned and tried to focus on the clock. “Gosh its 1:00 PM already, I slept longer than I anticipated,” I said.

“Come on girl, get up,” said Asia.

“I wonder will there be anyone we know at the party,” said Asia.

“Yeah…I wonder too.”

“Let me go to my bedroom and get some things together for tonight.”

“I’m going to do the same.” I replied,

“IT’S ON LIKE POPCORN!” said Asia as she pranced out the bedroom door.

Now what am I going to wear to the party?

“Hmmm…let me think,” I shuffled through my clothes that hung neatly in my closet, some of my clothes were out dated and some just didn’t fit anymore, due to the extra pounds I put on.

“I really have to go clothes shopping,” I thought.

So I continued to shuffle, moving clothes from one end to another. Finally I found something that I haven’t worn in a minute, so I tried it on to see if it still fit. To my surprise, it did fit. It’s a cute little cream colored mini dress that zipped up along the side. It has a v-shaped neck line and low cut to show a little cleavage. I gave a little twirl in the mirror.

“Yep yep...this is too cute,” I said.

I decided with this dress I was gonna wear my black Donna Karen open toe halter shoes that laced all the way up to my calves. This looks so hot together!

Everything I was going to wear tonight was going to be Donna Karan, from my perfume to my shoes. I changed my outfit and laid it across the chair that sat across from my bed.

To kill some time I went down stairs and watch a little television. The rest of the day seemed to just drag along. Maybe I was just a bit too anxious.

Its 7:00 PM and Asia and I started getting ready. Asia has on a very nice pair of extra high waist jeans that she bought from the House of Derion.
