That evening Tim was standing on a street corner under the dim light of the shadowed moon, waiting for Flint. He was wearing a suit and tie.

“Dad!” Flint called out, excited to tell him about the mayor's invitation. “Thank you for coming!”

Tim tugged at his tie uncomfortably. “Do I look all right?”

“You look great, come on!” Flint grabbed his father's hand and led him toward a fancy restaurant nearby. “We have so much to celebrate, Dad.”

Inside the restaurant, Flint and Tim were escorted to the best table.

“Very nice place,” Tim said, looking around. The restaurant had removed its roof and ceiling.

Flint was a major celebrity. Tourists were calling his name, and Joe Towne raised his glass as Flint walked by. “A toast! To Flint and his delicious steaks.”

“Wasn't this the diner?” Tim asked as they sat down.

“Yeah, but it's way better,” Flint said.

“So, no roof?” Tim stared up at the ominous- looking clouds overhead.

“Yup. You just hold out your plate. I even made it rain your favorite: meat.” Flint pushed out his plate and caught a large steak.
