Stretching the Arms and Opening the Palms (See Figure 75).

1. Beginning Posture: Standing posture

2. Movements:

a. Stand in the beginning posture for several minutes.

b. Place the palms, face down, on the waist. Close and straighten the four fingers with the thumbs forcefully abducted and perpendicular to them. Dorsi-flex the wrists.

c. Slowly stretch the arms straight backward and throw out the chest with the scapulae drawn close to the spinal column.
