The idea of the children being trapped is too much for you to bear. You jump into the water and wade down the hall to the cabin. The door is open, and the cabin is flooded. The Charles’ beautiful things are floating everywhere. But thankfully the family is gone.

By now the water is hip-deep. You have trouble getting out of the cabin. If you can make it to the stairs, you’ll surely survive. Just as you get there, a wave of water rolls down the hallway. It lifts you off your feet and carries you forward. Something hits your head. You fall unconscious, drowning below decks as Titanic sinks.
