Conventional sun visors, which match the interior trim, are an extra cost option on new-builds. The small threaded fixing tubes on the screen top frame are a standard fit, whether the Morgan has sun visors or not. Aftermarket visors are available in tinted perspex, although they are not widely advertised at the time of writing. However, tinted visors are available on-line for the classic Mini. These are slightly too narrow to fit the Morgan, but these visors do provide an inexpensive route to obtain the four chromed swivel brackets, which if sourced separately are very expensive. The tinted perspex visors may be used conventionally, or with the brackets reversed may be used inclined upwards and semi-fixed. This does depend on how tall you are, because for taller owners, they may fall right within your eye line.

If you make up your own visors from scratch, then note that the distance from the outer edge of the visor to the screen frame is important, to allow the over-centre catches of the easy-up hood enough space to operate. This is not important if you have the traditional studded hood. The distance between the inner edge and rear-view mirror is also important if you intend to use perspex sun visors in the conventional manner, because the gap here is marginal.
