Lemon

Coffee in bed and a view of the lake is a good start to the day. And what makes it even better is when Carson slinks back under the sheets.

My skin tingles from the friction of us rubbing against each other for most of the night and parts of me ache like I’ve done multiple shifts at the Green Parrot. I hook my leg over Carson’s and slink my arm under his, squashing myself close to his back.

“Hmm.” He pulls my hand up to his mouth and kisses my palm softly. “My baby girl,” he says in a gravelly voice.

And that’s enough to have me squirming. Again.

“Do you have to go into work today?” I kiss his shoulder.

“No.”

“Hmm.” I snuggle into him. This is surely the best feeling the world and he echoes my sentiments by saying so. I still can’t reconcile why I’ve never thought of Carson like this until recently. He’s a stud. Plain and simple. A nice guy to boot. Pretty much perfect and it’s obvious my biggest mistake in life has not been opening my eyes to him earlier.

He turns over, his hard chest and length crushes against me.

I run my fingers up to his face and study his features with my fingertips. Can this man make me forget Blue like no-one else has?

He kisses my fingertips. A gentle power. That’s what sums him up. He’s that perfect calm mix of strength and serenity.

I can’t imagine having the hot-headed fights I used to have with Blue. I close my eyes for a second when I realize I can’t seem to stop myself from comparing him to Blue, like I have every man.

Carson leans in and kisses each of my closed eyelids in turn, then runs his nose down, pressing his mouth against mine. A heat stirs in my legs and I shiver in anticipation.

“It’s good you have a bulk pack of condoms.”

He chuckles. “And I’m setting up a repeat order.”

“You plan on another night with me, stud?”

“Uhuh. You can stay as long as you want.” He kisses over my chin and down my neck, sitting back on his heels as he inches down my body. My knees squeeze together when I realize where he is going.

“Are you suggesting I move in with you?” I chuckle.

His head snaps up to mine.

“Only kidding.” I gasp as he roughly pushes my knees apart and loops one of my legs over his shoulder, diving his face down between my legs.

“Shit.” I strain my neck to watch him. He’s a master at this and I giggle at how my collection of stimulators won’t see the light of day as long as Carson is around. For a fleeting second, I wonder how long that will be, but all ability to think of anything is pushed aside when he spears his tongue inside me.

Holy shit. “Carson,” I grit out between clamped teeth. “How long is your tongue?”

“Huh?” He stops moving and opens one eye to me.

“Don’t stop.” I thump on his shoulders.

He rests his chin on my mound.
