“I am so happy you are home,” Michelle said when she arrived on Anaya’s doorstep.

“What is going on?”

“Greg wants his son to come and live with us and I am not very happy about that idea.”

“Well you accepted him back so what did you expect, that he was going to ignore his child,” Anaya said.

“Whose side are you on?” Michelle snapped.

“What is wrong with you? You have been acting crazy lately. You keep snapping at me about nothing. You came to get my opinion obviously and if you didn’t want it you shouldn’t have come over,” Anaya said with irritation.

“I am so tired of people ganging up on me. Tonya has been saying I am acting different too and I’m not. Its you two that are different.”

“Well for once I agree with Tonya.”

“You know what. I don’t have time for this or you,” Michelle said as she grabbed up her purse and headed for the door. “Call me when you are ready to apologize.”

“Apologize for what,” Anaya yelled after her, but Michelle did not stay around to hear anymore. She was tired of all of her friend’s craziness. She needed to call Lola. They said they were going to keep in touch but hadn’t. Maybe she needed a new crop of friends. She was a different Michelle than she was before and maybe she needed new friendships in her life to help support that.
