The War Never Ended

Pain and suffering, that is one explanation for the existence of spirits and paranormal activity in a certain location. The greater the pain, suffering and death, the higher the chance of the location being haunted. With that logic, it makes sense that battlefields are a prime location to spot and witness ghostly apparitions, some seemingly caught in a loop, repeating the horrific experiences that led to their demise.

One such place exists in Southern Maryland; there a small and beautiful peninsula was converted to a prisoner of war camp during the American Civil War. Since the war ended, Point Lookout has been known as a hot spot for paranormal activity, with many visitors and employees of the park reporting countless sightings.

Geoff was one such employee who not only worked at the state park, which now occupies the area that was once the prison camp, but also lived there. In the short three months he spent at the state park, he experienced numerous encounters with the unexplained and can say with conviction that the ghosts of Point Lookout aren’t just stories to frighten people and attract curious onlookers, they are real and everywhere.
