This part of the training was sweet. I got almost the same rush rappelling down the side of a sheer cliff as I'd gotten during jump school. I was learning quickly that I was an adrenaline junkie and the more dangerous the task, the more I liked it. What I also learned during this phase was that Owen had been full of shit when he'd had me pinned to the ground, whispering in my ear that it was a normal response to get a hard-on due to adrenaline. No matter how big the head-rush, I never got hard. That response was saved for when Owen was near me or when I was thinking about him.
