you will need…makes 16

• 16 round cake pop bases on sticks (30g/1oz balls) — 4 different flavours (see step 1)

• 200g (7oz) each 4 colours of chocolate or coating, melted

• small squares of coloured foil to wrap

• small squares of clear cellophane

• curling ribbon to tie wrapping

1 Choose four different flavours from: coconut, caramel, strawberry, lemon, orange, peanut butter, mint chocolate, violet, vanilla, milk, cappuccino, white or dark chocolate. Use these flavours in your frostings, sponge bases and some of them in the finishing chocolate coating.

2 Dip four cake pops of each colour/flavour and set aside to dry.

3 When dry, wrap a sheet of coloured foil around each sweet. Add a layer of cellophane and tie in place with curling ribbon. Use the back of a pair of scissors to stroke firmly against the ribbon to create the curls. You could use multicoloured cellophane to add extra colour on top of your foil.
