Daily Routine
You should incorporate this routine slowly and gradually. Changing everything at once may be too much for you, so pick one or two items on the list and try them for 2-4 weeks. Do this regularly. Make it a habit. Then, select more items. You can also pick one item at a time if you cannot handle too many at a time. Because Ayurveda is a lifestyle practice there is no rush to change everything quickly. The idea is that, once you start a new practice, you continue it for the rest of your life to keep your body, mind, and soul happy, healthy, and connected. Think of it as being like brushing your teeth: once you learn this, you do it every morning. It has become second nature to you. Let it be the same with the new Ayurvedic self-healing practices that you learn. Get to know them and familiarize yourself with each new technique you try. Be fully present with yourself as you learn about how to care for yourself in this ancient and natural way.
