Noah’s Rainy Rescue

GENESIS 6-9

God told Noah to build a great big boat called an ark. He was to gather every kind of animal and put them inside the ark. Noah obeyed. God was sending a great flood. Every living thing would be destroyed. But Noah, his family, and the animals would be safe. Soon the rain began to fall. Noah and the animals thanked the Lord for saving them.

God spoke to King Solomon in a dream. God said He would give Solomon anything he wanted. Solomon said, “Lord, all I ask for is the wisdom to do what is right.” God was pleased. “Solomon, because you were not selfish, I will give you unmatched wisdom. You will be very wealthy and live a long life.” Solomon rejoiced and gave thanks.
