‘What about a mango seed?’ laughed Mum.

The game of cricket was funny. The mango seed was very slippery to catch and a bit yucky to hold.

Alex hit the seed high into the air, and Dad took a great midair catch.

When Dad stood up, he looked like he was covered in breadcrumbs from the sand.

Katie could not stop laughing.

Suddenly, Dad said, ‘Katie, your tooth has come out!’

Katie stuck her finger in the hole. There was a bit of blood on the tip of her finger.

‘Oh no,’ she cried, looking all around her. ‘My tooth! Mum! My tooth!’

Katie looked up and down the long beach. There was so much sand.
