Got a Brand in Mind Yet?

THIS MIGHT BE a good time for you to head on over and read a copy of my free ebook called The $7.95 Marketing Plan, where you can learn how to build your brand for less than the price of a pizza (http://www.795MarketingPlan.com). You should already have an idea of what type of member program you want to create. Now you need to go out and get a domain name that is going to be the brand for it. The examples listed in previous chapters are excellent case studies in effective domain name branding.

Two other options for you when starting a member program are Amember and Wishlist Member. Amember is a lower cost solution that runs on your hosted domain. It can be bolted onto any web site running on the Linux platform. (Chances are your server is Hypertext Preprocessor [PHP] enabled, most are. Check with your hosting provider to make sure.) Wishlist Member allows you to bolt a member program right onto your Wordpress blogging software installation. It activates like a plug-in on your installation and allows you to create private, paid member-only sections of your web site.
