You begin your year with the planetary power in its maximum Eastern position. This will be the case next month too. You are in your period of maximum personal independence. You have the power to change conditions to your liking and to design your life according to your personal specifications. With the planetary momentum mostly forward this month you should see fast progress to your goals. You are in a cycle where you are less in need of other people. Personal initiative matters. Who you are and what you can do are more important than who you know. People skills are always good, but your personal skills are more important now.

The planets make an important shift from the upper half to the lower half of the Horoscope this month, on the 20th. The outer career is becoming less of a focus. You are ending a yearly career push. Now it is time to build up the inner forces needed for the next career push which will begin in about six months’ time. It will be good to focus on the home, family and your emotional well-being from the 20th onwards. Your family planet, Venus, is retrograde all month, so you can focus on the family but need not make important decisions or changes. Be there for your family, cement family relationships and alliances, but avoid major decisions.

This is basically a happy month. On the 20th you enter one of your yearly personal pleasure peaks. This is where you give the body (your most loyal servant) its due. You take care of it and get it into right shape.

Love is excellent this month. Love is pursuing you and will find you after the 20th. There’s nothing much you need to do. With both the ruler of your 7th house of love and romance and the ruler of your 5th house of fun and creativity in your own sign, singles have the option of either serious love or just fun-and-games love. Both are there if you want it. You are having love on your terms from the 20th onwards. A current love is very devoted to you and puts your interests ahead of his or her own. Happy social opportunities come to you as well.

Once your birthday happens, you are in a great cycle for starting new projects or releasing new products into the world. The 30th and 31st are exceptionally good starting periods.

Health is excellent right now. Most of the planets are either in harmonious aspect to you or leaving you alone. You have plenty of energy – especially after the 20th – to achieve anything you desire. Health regimes (and health in general) go better from the 1st to the 16th and on the 30th and 31st.
