Musical MessagesAngels love to play DJ. Is there a song you find comforting to listen to when going through a major transition? If you start hearing that song out of the blue in stores or on the radio, it could be an angel letting you know that another big transition is on the horizon. Sometimes the lyrics or title of the song are the message. One afternoon I was about to give an Angel Reading to a client who was upset about a ghost, or “lost soul” as I call them, in her house. Right before the reading I turned on my internet radio to find some soothing background music, and instead of nature sounds, Cyndi Lauper’s 1983 hit “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” came blaring out. I knew it was a message from the angels to have fun with this reading, to lighten the mood. The ghost meant this woman and her two female roommates no harm. During the reading, my client admitted that lately there had been a lack of fun in her house and her attitude.

Sometimes right before I get on the phone with a client a song will start playing—clearly and loudly—in my mind. It might be a song I love, like Fleetwood Mac’s “You Make Loving Fun.” If the client is having relationship problems, I know the angels’ advice is for this couple to enjoy themselves more and remember why they fell in love in the first place. Other times I hear a song I had totally forgotten about, like The Five Stairsteps’ 1970 classic “O-o-h Child.” If the client has lost a loved one, this is a “promise” to the client that, like the song says, things will get easier.

If you are a music buff, the angels might start sending you music to help you get in touch with and express your emotions. And of course, angels will send you your favorite songs as a way to say, “Hey! We’re with you!” Loved ones who have passed away can also use music to send you messages.

Action step: Think of something that has been upsetting or frustrating you lately. What is the first issue that comes to mind? Now ask your angels to send you a song to help you deal with or better understand this issue. You might hear the song later today or later this week, in a store or on the radio.
