At Northwestern University, a study conducted under strict scientific conditions demonstrated that the act of laughing massages the heart, stimulates blood circulation, and helps the lungs breathe easier. Another test at Fordham University reinforced the conclusion that laughter benefits the heart, lungs, stomach, and other organs. It relaxes our tensions and promotes a feeling of well-being.

5) LEARN TO ARTICULATE WELL
A conversation is only as good as it is heard. Articulation includes speaking slowly and clearly, as well as completing your thoughts carefully. The bottom line here is this: Learn to say it clearly.
A person who talks too fast commonly makes his or her partner feel uncomfortable or rushed. Concentrate on slowing down and delivering a well-spoken message. Speaking slowly will make the person you are trying to communicate with feel more at ease. Fast talkers many times come across as in a hurry or too busy to really care about the conversation at hand.
Some people have developed the annoying habit of not finishing thoughts or sentences. This can be very distracting. It communicates that you arenât really interested in the conversation or the other person. Take the time to concentrate on the words you are saying, and learn to say them slowly and with confidence.
6) AVOID USING PROFANITY
Profanity is the common crutch of the conversational cripple.
