Three days have passed and still no word from Alek. I know he wants to process our relationship fully, but the waiting is disconcerting. I regret how hasty things were handled on my part. Sometimes my emotions get the best of me, especially when it comes on the heels of the death of a family member.
Missing the time spent with Alek, along with fantastic sex, makes me yearn for him more.
Putting on one of the teddy's Alek bought for me, I lay on my bed and begin snapping sultry pictures to send to him in order to get a response. Granted, this is not my typical style or approach. Hearing from Alek would please me, and anything to stir up his emotions should help.
The photo of choice is one with me in the red piece, and since the lingerie is crotchless, baring just enough of me for Alek's imagination to run wild, I press send.
Standing in front of my mirror while wearing the red garment, studying my body from head to heel, my phone dings with a text notification.
It is Alek!
"'Ciara, I think we should meet and talk things over. Iâm still not sure what to do. I miss you so much. I need to touch and kiss you, however, things have been so up and down with us. Very sexy fucking pic, BTW."
"Alek, it has been a long few days waiting to hear from you. I would love to meet you so we can talk about all of this."
"Perfect, meet me at Benezetteâs for lunch. See you at noon."
"Okay."
Tearing the red teddy off and frantically dismantling my closet for the perfect outfit to meet Alek, my heart is pounding so hard it feels like it may come out of my chest.
Driving to the restaurant, thoughts of Alek spin in my mind. Will he want to try and work on things? Will he want to end it? Maybe weâll have make-up sex in the bathroom of the restaurant like we did in the bar?
Walking inside the establishment, I spy Alek sitting on the bench waiting for me. "Ciara, good to see you." He kisses my cheek.
"Hi, itâs so good to see you."
Alek looks to the hostess. "Table for two."
Following the hostess to the table, Alex walks in front of me. This seems peculiar as he usually insists on walking behind me.
We sit down across from one another. Alek leans into the table and rests his elbows on top, his eyes peer into mine. "I know you want a straight answer from me. Things have been so damn busy itâs hard to get a minute to formulate a decision about us. What are your thoughts?"
"You know I love you, and I always will. Things have gotten a bit nuts with us. Thereâs been so much swirl even the strongest of couples would struggle. I want you to know, Iâve been working on me the last few days. I actually applied for a job!"
"Wow! A job, what kind of job and where?"
"Iâm going to start making movies⦠adult movies.
