On her way back Abbie was looking up at the birds when she tripped over something . When she looked down she saw a feather and a smile came to her face.

Of course she thought, Feathers.Birds have wings, and wings are made of feathers . So she searched around until she found a second feather.

So once again young Abbie set off to climb the big tree, this time with her two feathers.

When Abbie reached the top of the tree she took one look up at the birds and said “ Here I come! “ then jumped.Abbie flapped the feathers as fast as she could, and for a few seconds she floated in the air.
