1. Using an electric mixer, beat the avocado in a bowl with the lemon juice until you achieve a smooth consistency, beating out all the lumps. Slowly blend in the sugar, increasing the speed of the mixer as you go. Add more sugar, if needed, to achieve a consistency and taste that you like.
2. Fit a piping bag with a number 10 tip and fill with the frosting. Make an incision in the top of each cake and pipe the frosting into the center, filling it up. Slowly lift the tip out of the center of the cake and frost the top.
3. Roll out the fondant, ideally using a silicone rolling pin and mat, or dust the work surfaces and the rolling pin with cornstarch (cornflour) to prevent the fondant icing from sticking (this can then be gently wiped away with kitchen paper when you are finished). Cut eight radioactive symbols from yellow and black fondant and stick them together with a little icing sugar mixed into water. Place on top of the avocado frosting.
