Paint application equipment

As with many processes, the tools required to apply refinishing paint materials are many and varied. It is therefore important to understand how these pieces of equipment are operated and how their internal components interact and fit together. In this chapter, the benefits and drawbacks of each piece of equipment will be discussed, as well as the more in-depth explanation of how the tools work. This should help technicians decide on which type of equipment will suit them best and make informed decisions when selecting new tools. Figure 6.1 shows a technician in typical pose spray gun in hand.
