The situation is improved by making the suspension more sensitive to small bumps by reducing the hydraulic brake during compression and extension.

Esses

The changes in direction shown on the graphs are useful tools for understanding the balance of the bike. As they extend and compress together, the two suspensions provide an overview of the suspension at that setting.

Obviously, esses must also be analysed when the rider complains of slow changes of direction or an inability to take the apex in the second part of the esse. Some tracks provide numerous fundamental points of interest when analysing the suspension.
