Use Artificial Lighting

If you still feel that your tree is not getting enough light or you don’t have any lighted spots in your house, use fluorescent lighting or light-emitting diode lighting for about 10 hours a day. This should take care of the light requirements for your bonsai tree.

Place It In A Tray Of Water

Trees need high humidity. This is why it is better to pick a specie such as the Ficus, which can survive low humidity. But that doesn’t mean you should leave your trees to deal with the low level of humidity.

Place the pot in a tray filled with water to ensure that the tree gets the right amount of humidity to grow well.
