I don’t know how much time had passed before I opened my eyes. But when I did, Khalil was sitting across from me, staring at me with his head propped up by his fist. We were still on the floor.
I lazily sat up and placed my hand on my forehead. What the fuck was I thinking? Popping pills like I do that shit for real. Khalil reached up on the coffee table and handed me a bottle of water. I took it from him and drank it completely. He pulled his lips into his mouth and roughly scratched his head before standing.
He walked off, in the direction of the bathroom. He looked over his shoulder and said, “Don’t ever do no stupid shit like that again.”
I didn’t say anything. I felt like shit. I was nauseous and dehydrated. I laid back down and stared at the ceiling. I just wanted him to see how it felt. And by the look in his eyes, he didn’t like it. I knew he wouldn’t. I heard the toilet flush, then water running before I turned my head to watch him walk back over.
Khalil stood over me before bending down and picking me up. He carried me to the couch where he laid down and placed me on top of him. With his fingers running through my hair, he told me he got it. He told me he understood.
“I hear you, Fats.” He sighed, “And as soon as I finish with this disloyal ass nigga I’ll go to rehab.”
I smiled and looked up at him, “For real?”
He kissed me on the forehead, “For real.”
My smile widened and before I knew it, I was kissing him on the lips. When I realized what I had done, I pulled away. He stared into my eyes, grabbed the back of my neck and kissed me again. There was so much passion behind the kiss that it didn’t feel like it was Khalil I was kissing. I moaned into his mouth as passion took over me. His hands roaming my body, caressing me, sent chills down my spine. I hated the way he made me feel. The beating of his heart against my chest. The throbbing of his dick growing hard between his legs. The way he held a fist full of my hair as he sucked my bottom lip. The furrow in his eyebrows. The tightness of his closed eyes. The way he held my body in a way that said he didn’t want to let me go. It was all driving me crazy. I was like a hungry animal, tugging at his waistband while we sloppily kissed.
My hand crept up his beater, caressing the muscles in his chest. He planted soft kisses on my lips. And then his eyes opened and our eyes met as we committed a sin we knew we shouldn’t be committing. It was so wrong, but in this moment, it felt so right. I wanted nothing more than to be in his arms right now.
