“Morning, wife,” Aiden rasps out, voice still heavy with sleep.

“Morning,” I mumble back, snuggling closer into his embrace, rubbing my cheek over his short, soft chest hair.

I feel Aid’ press a kiss at the top of my hair, and I lift my face to look into his beautiful golden eyes. Watch the soft smile stretching his full lips, his handsome bearded face. I scrunch my mouth to the side to contain my own beam. Dropping a quick peck on his lips, I jump out of the bed, before he gets a chance to catch me.

“Be right back,” I throw over my shoulder, running to the lavish bathroom to freshen up.

When I return, Aiden is sitting up against the huge white pillows resting on the tufted headboard. The sunlight generously spreads through the curtains he must have pulled. Aiden looks delicious, his red hair all over the place, eyes still fuzzy, a lazy smile stretching his full lips. Strong, tanned, muscled torso in full display, he watches me with his hungry eyes, scratching at his beard. Uh-oh, looks like I’m about to get me some morning nooky…

“Come here, wife,” Aiden growls in his even deeper than normal morning voice.

Gah, kill me now! I love his gruff morning voice, commanding tone… and the ‘wife’ thing? Phew, total panty melter.

I walk back to my husband on shaky legs, climb on the bed, ready for more rounds of all-consuming sex, and a lifetime in the arms of my mountain man.
