Fidget shot out of the backyard. I followed. As we raced beyond the grassy backyard and into the woods behind Fidget's house, I couldn't help but feel invigorated by his pure joy and excitement. Despite everything he had been through, he was bursting with a love for life that I found infectious.

Squirrels zipped up trees, piglets scattered, and birds launched into the air as we passed. I found myself regaining the simple joys of carefree speed as leaves crunched under my paws and fern fronds whipped in my wake. It’s good to be a fur baby!

I followed close behind him, dodging trees and jumping over logs as we rushed deeper into Sandy's wooded property. He skidded to a stop, then turned around, wagging his tail in excitement.

Come on! Let's figure out where the ghost is hiding!
