At about the same time, I was looking for a writer’s job, but wherever I applied, a portfolio was mandatory and I had none. I saw a newspaper ad for a magazine looking for freelance writers and decided to give it a try even though I’d only started to come out of my creative shell and had no confidence. But I had begun picking a daily card from the Archangel deck, and that day I received “Creative Writing” as a message from Archangel Gabriel. I sent in my application and received a call for an interview. I was excited, but then the fears grew stronger.

During the interview, I was asked to provide a writing sample. I silently called upon Archangel Gabriel, and immediately the thought of a writing assignment I’d done almost a year back came to mind. I had a lot of doubts, but I subsequently sent it in and was hired! The first assignment I was given was equally miraculous. I was asked to review two restaurants and had no idea what to do or how to begin. However, Archangel Gabriel ensured that I was put in contact with the right people and guided me step-by-step, calming my fears and giving me confidence.
