Chapter Nine

Rayed gently stroked his hand down Jake’s flushed face. The man’s eyelashes were fluttering as he came back to consciousness after getting fucked into the mattress by Rhada, Rayed, and Ruvia.

Again.

“Hey, asika, are you okay?” he whispered. “You kind of passed out there toward the end.”

“Yeah.” Jake chuckled as he looked up at Rayed. “One of these days I’d really like to see that through to the end without passing out.”

Rayed laughed at the embarrassment on Jake’s face. The man had passed out more than once after sex. Rayed had been terrified the first time it happened, rushing Jake to the healer only to carry him back to their room, his face flushed red with embarrassment. The next time it happened, he stared at Jake carefully until he came to with a huge smile on his face.

Now, he just watched.

Rayed rolled over, pulling Jake up to rest across his wide chest. “Ah, asika, that just means that my brothers and I are doing our job to the best of our abilities.”

Jake joined his fingers together and rested his chin on them as he gazed down into Rayed’s smiling face. Rayed groaned when Jake moved his legs to rest between his. Rayed smiled when he felt Jake’s toes brush against his calves.

“I might need a little more input”—Jake thrust his hips against Rayed’s as he spoke—“before I can make an informed decision on your abilities.”

“Well, we wouldn’t want you to form any sort of opinion without having all the facts, Jake. I guess we’ll have to make sure you get plenty of material to study.” Rhada chuckled from the other side of the bed.

Rayed growled in protest when Jake lifted his head and rolled to one side. He liked Jake right where he was.

“There’s an offal lot to study here, Rhada. This may take me awhile.” He chuckled as he looked back up at Rayed. “Of course, I wouldn’t want either of you to think that us Earthlings weren’t thorough.”

“Perish the thought, asika.” Rayed laughed as he pulled Jake back up onto his chest. “To date, I am very impressed by how thorough you are. However, as to the rest of the Earthlings, that I do not know. Which brings me to another issue, Jake. You are no longer an Earthling. You are now Talamachait. You need to remember this.”

Rayed nodded emphatically. He knew the concept was probably foreign to Jake, but on Terra Nova, once mated, you became Talamachait.

Jake lifted an eyebrow. “That easily, huh?”

“Of course not,” Ruvia said as he strolled over to sit on the edge of the bed next to Rhada. “But you did complete the Ritual of the Stones. That makes you one of us, not one of them. We want you to think of this as your home now. Earth is just your birth world. It is no longer your home world. This is, if you want it to be.”

“That’s going to take me a little while to get used to, Ruvia,” Jake said. “I hope you understand.
