If you choose to enable digital rights management, your file will be converted after clicking “Save entries” to adjust your content appropriately. If you already have published your content and are changing your file, even in the process of reconverting it to enable or disable DRM, you will have to republish your work by clicking “Publish.” If you do not take this step, your title will be listed as a draft. After republishing, your content will not be buyable for 24 to 36 hours. Generally, the content will become available in one to two hours. The delay is caused by the time it takes Amazon to update its global catalog, add the content to the search index, and update any other information that you may have changed before republishing, such as the product detail page.
