Keep on walking intoxicated with divinity,

My wine is divine, I drink it again and again.

I neither come nor go as such,

I am always fine in all conditions.

When this entire world is your abode, why do you feel this is mine and that is not mine? Why limit your domain to ‘my parents’, ‘my shop’, ‘my money’. Why such narrow confines my dear, when the whole wide world, the entire creation is yours? When you can be the Lord of the universe, why cage yourself in the narrow confines of four walls?

Look at this world with this outlook, all belongs to me – the sun is rising for me, the beauty of the snow covered mountains is for me, the gushing river, the lush foliage, in fact this entire divine creation is for me. How blessed I am!

When I had travelled to Gomukh which is 14 kms above Gangotri, some of my companions were on foot and the others were on horse backs. I returned back to the place where we were to rest in the night when suddenly it started to snow. Some of my companions got worried that it may turn into a snow storm. I asked them to relax and enjoy the pristine beauty of the snow flakes, after all wasn’t it a sign of nature welcoming me!

Be in communion with the world, feel an intimacy with the entire

existence. Why be tied down to a peg, like animals? You are human, so have a rapport not only with entire humanity but with the entire world. And for this to happen, you first need to connect with your own heart. Listen to your own heart that calls out only to the Lord.

There is no person in any corner of this whole wide world who is not

desirous of bliss, of ananda. Is there anyone who says I don’t want bliss, I want misery? Irrespective of skin colour, nationality, caste or creed, everyone yearns for happiness, for unending bliss.

And who is the eternally blissful one? None other than the Lord. So, in

effect everyone wants none other than the Lord. The only problem is that you are seeking in the wrong places. You don’t seek where He is and but obviously you will not find if you search in the wrong place.

As I was saying earlier about my trip to Badrinath, one of my disciples lives there in a place called Joshimath. He visits me at my ashram in Gannuar, coming by bus – covering such a long distance from Joshimath. It takes him around 22 hours to reach me.

See, sometimes people want me to come to their home but are hesitant in voicing it aloud. However, I know what is there in their heart. On the contrary, there are some people who invite me to their homes but I don’t think it

appropriate to do so. This disciple had never given any invitation to me but when we were leaving Joshimath I told him that I would come to his home.

He said that his home was not in Joshimath but in a village ahead of

Joshimath.
