How to use CBD wellness products (hemp CBD) for mood management
CBD oil alone is not a proven treatment for depression, but because depression and anxiety often overlap, CBD can definitely help with the anxiety component as a start. CBD seems to work as an antidepressant in animals, but we don’t yet have human studies on CBD only for this purpose. In my clinical experience, I used a low-THC medical cannabis product (but still with more THC than hemp) as a starting point, and for some people even adding a bit more THC (along with CBD) was very useful when the right strain was picked.
Use a full-spectrum or broad-spectrum CBD oil.
Look for uplifting, mood-balancing terpenes: D-limonene – smells like lemons and has both anti-anxiety and antidepressant effects so it can be thought of as a mood-balancing terpene
