With their coffee cups empty, Morgan and Candace parted ways. Morgan found herself wandering the main street on the way back to her apartment. She passed a small boutique. She had passed the store dozens of times, always peeking through the front window with lust in her eyes. She could only dream of being able to afford something so extravagant. To saunter out with a little black bag, the goodies inside wrapped in golden tissue paper.

So why can’t I?, she thought. Candace was right that Sir had at least one thing in common with a “traditional” sugar daddy. He would buy her anything she wanted.

The inside of the store was elegant and sophisticated, with neatly dressed sales girls moving soundlessly across the floor. Morgan’s eyes roamed hungrily over the racks of lace, silk and leather. She had never seen such exquisite lingerie in her life. Even her own collection of Victoria’s Secret paled in comparison. She picked out a strappy black panty, turning the hanger over to admire it.

“One of our bestsellers,” said one of the shop assistants. She was a petite blonde and Morgan felt like a giant, towering over her in her heels.

“Many of our customers enjoy that piece for the bedroom.”

Morgan studied it closer and saw that there was an open panel where the crotch should be.

“Oh! I didn’t realize,” she said, blushing.

“Shall I put it in the fitting room?”

Morgan considered the scrap of fabric. Did she dare? “It’s not really what I’m looking for,” she replied.

The shop assistant smiled knowingly and took the hanger from Morgan’s hand. “I’ll find a nice bra to go with it.”

Morgan watched her flit about the store, loading her arms with lingerie that she tucked away into a velvet-curtained fitting room.
