The Venusian nature of copper reveals itself beautifully in the new art form developed by Mr John Byde. I meet up with him at summer festivals where he gives talks about alternative energy systems. His method, he explained, involves putting a small brass plate into a mountain stream allowing the water to drop over it for several days. There is no false colour or photoshopping in these images here, they have only been magnified. You are maybe looking at a centimetre across in these images.
