Chapter 12

I entered my house, carrying my dress and shoes from the night before, wearing the red plaid shirt and boxers from Blaine.

“Oh, look what the cat dragged in,” Wilma cackled as she trotted over excitedly.

“Shut-up,” I grumbled, although I managed a naughty smile.

“You stayed the night, good job. Did he drop you off?” Wilma asked as she peered back at the door as it closed behind me.

“He offered to after making me breakfast. I even showered there, but I figured I’d drive home,” I stated as I headed to the laundry, glancing at the clock on my microwave. Quarter to eight in the morning. Blaine intended to start around eight today, but I’d hogged the shower, so he may be late.

“Ooh, dinner and breakfast! I like this one. So, tell me, how was he in the sack? All fiery? Did he sing like a bird when he came?”

“What?!” I sputtered, giving her a mortified, awkward smile.

“Phoenix shifter. I don’t know what they’re like,” Wilma stated with a cute little pig-shrug. “So, did he?” she snorted softly.

“No, God,” I exclaimed, stifling chuckles as I popped my dress into the laundry tub to wash later. For now, I needed to get dressed, although I wasn’t against hanging onto Blaine’s clothes for a nice, cute pajama set.

Just imagining him singing like a little canary as he came had me bursting into laughter, and even Wilma couldn’t stop laughing as she followed after me.

“C’mon, give me something. I won’t be getting laid in this silly little body, so I need my sexy fix,” Wilma demanded.

I laughed and shook my head as I headed to my room.

“There’s an adult shop in town. Maybe they’ll make a toy suitable for you,” I mused.

Wilma’s eyes lit up with a little too much excitement at that comment.

“You think so? You should definitely find out. I’d offer to pay you, but… y’know. Hooves and shit. Besides, my company is worth it.”

“Jeez, I was joking,” I chuckled as I hunted through my walk-in closet for something to wear today. Jeans and a tee sounded good. I was glad I’d been smart enough to take my ointment over to Blaine’s with me, and I’d woken up before him thankfully, so I’d smeared it on my legs and arms before he could awaken to my scales.

“But that’d be perfect! I need a way to let out my frustrations. Oooh, maybe one of those ones you can stick on a door! Just down at my level, I can back this booty up,” she cackled as I gaped at her, wide-eyed and in disbelief.

No way in hell was I prepared to come home to her grinding back against one of my doors, snuffling and snorting in pleasure.

Just the thought weirded me out.

Then again, was I really going to deprive her of such things? She’d been my dearest, dirtiest minded companion for the past several years. I owed her for that.

But she got free accommodation, food, and was treated like a human, if not spoiled a bit like an only child.
