CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

Sunday morning and I’ve had no time to contact Kya. I’m about ready to blow my fuse with some of these fuckers. After last night at the fight, I’m going to be cracking some heads in Church this morning.

We have quite a lot to cover and don’t want to get behind, for Axel’s sake. He’ll not want a pile of things on his desk to go through when he brings Mia home.

Breakfast is over, so I text everyone to get to Church. I don’t want to be all day again trying to find time to contact Kya. I want to ride over and take her out on the bike. Maybe have a meal or an ice-cream somewhere. Time together so we can get to know each other more.

Placing the plans for the wine shop on the desk, I walk out of the office and into Church. Taking my place at the head of the table. I don’t like this and never wanted to be in charge, in any way, shape or form, but I understand Axel wanting to be with Mia and have his two best men with him.

It only takes fifteen minutes for everyone to roll into Church. Target, Wings and Chaos freshly showered from the training session this morning. Meat walks in wearing a kilt. Now why the fuck would he be wearing a kilt? He hasn’t got an ounce of Scottish blood in his veins. I’m not fucking asking.

Picking up the gavel, I tap it on the table, then look at TwoCents and PT who are on either side of me. “Okay, everyone, you know Pres is still at the hospital with Mia. She’s on bedrest until the babies are born, so we’re not going to be getting our Pres back for two weeks at least. With that in mind, I want to thank you all for stepping up and keeping things running well so he doesn’t have the worry of the club on top of worrying about Mia and those two babies.

“PT report, please.”

“We have no issues for me to report at this time. All admin for the club is up to date. I’ve nothing to report that needs to be addressed.” PT grins, looking pretty damn proud of himself.

“TwoCents, your report.” I turn, looking to my right where TwoCents is sitting.

“The wine shop purchase has gone through with no complications. The payment was made, and the lawyer has all the legal shit done, so we are officially the owners of that building. Billy and Hammer have given me plans for the renovations that we’ll need to do. I’ve left it on my desk for everyone to look at when they want. The shelving, wine racks, counter, and everything else are in the hands of Hammer and Billy, who are getting prices to me as quickly as they can. We estimate eight weeks once we get started.” Once finished with his report, TwoCents folds his arms over his chest and leans back in his seat.
