The 5 Rings of Buying Insight
In Buyer Personas, Revella presents five types of insight about the journey your Right-Fit Clients take to find you. When you have conversations with prospects as they enter your world and with current clients to learn how they came into your world, certain patterns related to the actions they took to connect with you will emerge.
Since every business is different, I can’t tell you what these insights will be for your business. Sorry, but you’ll have to do the work. I suggest you identify 10 to 20 current Right-Fit Clients and ask them about the insights I’m about to share from the book. Then, as you continue to bring prospects into your world, ask them these questions as a part of your courtship process. Their answers will give you awareness and understanding of who that person sitting in front of you truly is, while showing you what that person and your defined target “persona” have in common.
Why is this important? Because how you message your value—be it on your website, in your emails, or even during your appointments— needs to be informed by the insights you gain.
