HEALING RITUAL

Energy work can be quite effective long-distance, but doing it in person has a symbolic advantage. The person receiving the energy sees your belief that she can heal. The ritual is an instruction to heal, so to speak. Still, the energy itself is primary.

APPROACHES TO HEALING

There are two basic approaches to healing another person energetically, both of them valid. In one, you work more in your own body. You bring his energy pattern into it, cleanse and change it, and give it back, so to speak. In the other, you work primarily in his body. You stimulate his own healing energy to come forth and move the illness out. You can also use a combination of these methods. Both can use a lot of your energy and be draining, although the second one is generally less so and is better if you are not physically very strong. If you are actually weak, you should not be doing this work.
