Josh stared back at her, completely mesmerized by his mate.

Tamara was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen, the most desirable woman in the world—at least to him she was. He couldn’t believe his luck. How did she not understand how essential she was to him? If only she knew how fortunate he was to have finally found her, then maybe then she’d understand why he couldn’t live a single day without her. This was the moment he’d been waiting for, when she’d finally see him as he really was; the wolf and the man in one. He’d imagined it so many times, and now here she was cuddled warmly within his arms. Now that he found her, he wasn’t letting her go.

She kissed him softly with her eyes closed. Her supple, warm, welcoming lips broke his remaining self-restraint and Josh came alive. He returned the kiss and moved to position his body over her, supporting his weight on his arms. Their kiss became more urgent, and soon shifted into a sensuous play for dominance. Her tongue slipped through the barrier of his lips and teased him. He parted his mouth and welcomed his hot little minx, matching her intensity. Tamara’s arms wrapped around his neck and pulled him toward her. Her fingers rounded his shoulder blades and moved lower, stroking toward the middle of his back. She lowered her arms further and tugged at the seam of his shirt. She pulled repeatedly and squealed in frustration.

Josh whispered in a husky tone of voice, “Do you want this off me?”

He lifted up and teased her with a wink before pulling his shirt up a little and exposing part of his muscled abs.

She gave him a lazy smile and reached for him. “Yes, I do.”

He rewarded her with another sensual kiss.

Josh stopped teasing her. He cupped her chin and looked into her eyes. “Do you want me to stop? Because if you do, I will.”

She hesitated, licking her lips and said, “Would I be wicked if I said no?”

“I think you want this as much as I do.”

Tamara nodded slowly.

“Now, do you still want this off?” he teased, rolling up the bottom of his shirt.

She chewed on her lower lip, a sexy, girlish maneuver that sent pleasure signals straight to his groin “Yes.”

He lifted his shirt up and over his head and Tamara gasped.

She stroked the muscles of his chest, dragging her fingers down to his washboard abs. Next, she ran her hands over his chiseled arms. “I still can’t believe this is real. You’re amazing.”

He grinned ear to ear like a Cheshire Cat, until noticing a twinge of sadness in her voice. “What wrong?”

Tamara looked away from him. “It just seems so unreal. Too good to be true. And honestly, it’s hard to believe that someone like you could ever want me.”

He kissed her, gorging himself on her swollen, delectable lips. Josh stroked his fingers through her hair, then across her rosy cheeks and down her chin, and her arms. She was everything he could’ve dreamt of and more.
