Later, Kojo’s family sits at the table to eat dinner. He asks his mom, “What is God’s real name?”

Kojo’s older brother, who is seven, replies, “God is His real name, Kojo!”

Kojo answers, “Yes, but why doesn’t God have a first and a last name like us? Why didn’t His mom give Him two names?”

Mom smiles. “That’s a great question, son,” she replies. “God doesn’t have parents like you and I do. He didn’t have a mom and a dad to give Him a name. God has always been God.”

That idea seems very strange to Kojo.
