1. Consider the following from contemporary Jewish teacher Yitzhak Buxbaum:

“I am going to take a bath to keep my body clean, for the honor of my Creator; for my body is His wondrous creation, the house of the soul, which is made in His image.”

Then, put Buxbaum’s words alongside this, which the Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth:

“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.”
