“Okay, but a question for you. Did your dad ever do catering on the side?”

“Oh, sure. He did weddings, birthdays, events for ball teams. Sure did. It was all word of mouth, not a real business.”

“Any records in existence on the events?”

She smiled. “Oh, shoot, no. He never kept records, ever. It was all cash, probably never paid a penny in taxes on any of it. But keep that to yourself.” Smiled again.
